Do Not Touch

A short provocation, and an example*, on how to exhibit a concept, rather than just an outcome, and how to deconstruct the ‘Do Not Touch’ norm when exhibiting theatre design, by inviting the interaction between visitors and analogue exhibits such as model boxes.

*the Athens National Theatre’s new building, conceived and designed by Andreas Skourtis as a transformable flexible space that becomes a scenography tool, and the way it was exhibited in the Prague Quadrennial 2011 (awarded a gold medal for ‘best work in theatre architecture and performance space’).
